Who can open a B2B account with Hospitality Line?

We work with licensed hospitality businesses across the EU and UK: bars, restaurants, hotels, cafés, caterers and regional distributors. A valid VAT number (or equivalent) and a registered company name are required.

How long does account approval take?

Accepted Answer

Applications are reviewed individually. EU VAT numbers are checked via VIES, and we may ask for additional documentation for new entities or non-EU customers.

Do you sell to private individuals?

No. Hospitality Line is wholesale-only — pricing and shipping are structured for trade buyers.

Can multiple people from my company use the same account?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Once approved, account admins can invite buyers and viewers — each with their own login and permissions for placing orders, downloading invoices and managing addresses.

Why are prices hidden until I log in?

Accepted Answer

Wholesale pricing is contract-confidential by industry convention. Once your account is approved, you'll see net trade prices and volume tiers on every product.

What payment terms do you offer?

Payment terms are agreed per account and stated on each quotation and invoice. New accounts may be asked for prepayment; any credit terms are agreed individually after review.

How does VAT work for EU customers outside Denmark?

If you provide a valid EU VAT number from a country other than Denmark, we invoice under reverse-charge — no VAT is charged and you account for it locally. UK, Norway, Switzerland and other non-EU customers are invoiced without EU VAT but may pay local import VAT on receipt.

Do you accept card payments?

Yes — for pro-forma orders under €5,000 we accept all major cards. Larger orders are settled by bank transfer or under agreed payment terms.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Minimum quantities and pack sizes are confirmed per product in your quotation. Tell us the quantities you need and we will confirm what is possible.

How are delivery times confirmed?

Delivery timing depends on stock, order size and destination. We confirm the available dispatch and delivery estimate for each order.

Do you ship pallets or only parcels?

Accepted Answer

Both. Pallet shipping is standard for orders above ~120 kg or when volume justifies it — we'll quote the most efficient mode at checkout. Mixed parcel + pallet orders are fine.

Can I split delivery across multiple addresses?

Yes. Once your account is set up, you can add unlimited delivery addresses and ship a single order to multiple properties — common for hotel groups.

What is your return policy?

Contact us before returning anything. Returns are reviewed case by case in line with the trade terms agreed for your account; custom and perishable goods are generally not returnable.

What happens if goods arrive damaged?

Note the damage on the delivery receipt where possible and email photos to info@hospitalityline.eu as soon as possible. We review each claim and confirm the remedy in writing.

What's the shelf life on Fine Foods items?

Accepted Answer

Every consumable lists its remaining shelf life on the product page. We guarantee at least 50% of nominal shelf life on delivery — usually 12+ months for syrups, 18+ months for chai and 24+ months for sealed tinned goods.

Can I order samples before committing to a full carton?
